An innovative product and customers from all over the world

For many years Sergey Ivliev worked in a Russian IT company and taught at the Perm State University. Then he decided to become a blockchain entrepreneur. In 2015, he - as a co-founder - joined the Swiss crypto project Lykke established by a scientist and businessman Richard Olsen. The main product of the company is Lykke Wallet, a universal platform for storage, exchange, and use of crypto assets. Today, the startup has about 30,000 customers-wallet owners from around the world. Lykke is developing a blockchain marketplace and provides technical and legal consulting services to other companies regarding the ICO and token development. The company is also planning to obtain a Swiss brokerage license.

A vibrant business community and friendly jurisdiction

Lykke’s main office is located in Zug, the center of the Swiss Crypto Valley. The well-established ecosystem of already existing fintech and blockchain companies is constantly growing in the country. Among the advantages of Switzerland as a location for blockchain start-ups, Sergey mentions a strong legal framework, well-developed entrepreneurial culture, openness of the authorities to fintech and blockchain innovations, as well as legal and economic stability. "It makes sense to set your sights on the global market when you already have a working product. In this case, Switzerland is a good jurisdiction and will help break new ground", says Sergey.
