Country Event: Business opportunities in India

With 1.4 billion people, mostly young people, and an economy that is growing with turbo-charge, India is increasingly relevant on the international scene. Due to its size and importance as a manufacturing and service center, this nation is already a promising market in itself for many companies. However, as soon as it takes effect, the trade and economic partnership agreement signed on March 10, 2024 with Switzerland and EFTA will give our country's companies a real competitive advantage over their competitors.

What are the opportunities today and what will open up with the entry into force of the free trade agreement? What entry, insurance and logistics strategies are good to adopt? How does the patent system work? And finally, what does it actually mean to do business in the country and what are the associated risks? These and other questions will be the focus of this meeting, which also aims to provide participants with an opportunity to network with each other and with the experts present.
