Business Opportunities in Renewable Energy in the Philippines

With a high renewable energy (RE) capacity, the Philippines has planned to achieve 15.3 GW of RE by 2030, focusing on solar, wind, biomass, hydro power and geothermal sectors. The government aims to rise the contribution of RE to 35 percent by 2030 and 50 percent by 2040 under the updated Philippines Energy Plan 2020-2040 (PEP). This development offers several market entry opportunities for Swiss companies.
