Jakob Rope Systems started life in 1904 as a small hemp ropery. The company produced its first wire ropes at the beginning of the 1950s, and until the mid-1980s it sold exclusively in Switzerland.
It wasn’t until the arrival of Peter Jakob, the current CEO, that the market and product expansion began in earnest. The sales network was gradually expanded from Europe to the whole world, and now the company has its own sales offices in Germany, France and the USA.
Headquartered in Trubschachen, Jakob Rope Systems still stands for tradition and innovation today. This is best expressed in its product range, where sophisticated systems meet high quality standards. The systems are also easy to assemble, which has a positive effect on safety and economic efficiency. The range includes

All products are manufactured according to valid standards and with a certified quality management system (ISO 9001 - Swiss TS).
Experienced and specially trained fitters can install ropes and nets all over the world upon request. Jakob Rope Systems manages turnkey projects, from the idea through to planning, calculation and production to assembly.
