Founded in 2017, the Crypto Valley Association aims to strengthen the Swiss blockchain ecosystem. To this end, it supports startups and established companies through policy recommendations, research and development, and organizing events.
The Zug-based association is now expanding into Ticino and northern Italy with its newly established Southern Alps Chapter. According to a statement, the new chapter will help local companies network through local events and also facilitate the cross-sector applicability of blockchain systems. The Southern Alps Chapter will be presented to the public on 8 February in Lugano.
One of the first tasks of the new chapter will be to launch the Crypto Valley Association’s Southern Alps Chapter Code of Conduct for Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), which sets out the legal and moral conduct in this new form of raising capital.
The Crypto Valley Association recently opened its Western Switzerland Chapter.
