The University of St.Gallen (HSG) reported in a press release that the Financial Times placed its MA in Strategy and International Management (SIM-HSG) top of the ranking for the eighth consecutive year. HEC Paris and the London Business School were ranked second and third, respectively, this year. The evaluation is based on various different criteria, including the value for money of the programme, international reach and the balance between male and female students.

The University of St.Gallen highlights that students on its MA programme “are challenged with undertaking initiatives that focus on sustainability and global development”. The programme offers an international and interdisciplinary approach, which “balances the academic rigour [...] with the practical, interactive and personalised approach”. “We increasingly see that our students seek to find the tools that will empower them to find the answers to our global challenges. Our SIM programme embodies this vision,” commented HSG Rector Prof. Dr Thomas Bieger.

These students will consequently be able to quickly identify problems, analyse the causes and “grow the leadership qualities needed to navigate these challenges,” said Prof. Dr Omid Aschari, the managing director of the SIM programme.
