Brusa HyPower brings three investors on board

Bosch Rexroth, M&G, and Temasek now have a minority share in Brusa HyPower. The provider of power electronics for fuel cell vehicles and electric vehicles will use this to push forward with its international growth plans.

According to a press release, Brusa HyPower based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea has welcomed three internationally renowned investors on board. Bosch Rexroth from the German town of Lohr am Main, M&G from the United Kingdom, and Temasek from Singapore have secured a strategic minority share in Brusa HyPower. Ming Jiang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Brusa HyPower, comments in the press release: “The entry of Bosch Rexroth, M&G, and Temasek confirms the vast market potential and is a testimony to the strength of our business model and strategy.” He adds that the company will “scale operations to meet the global demand for fuel cell and battery electric vehicle applications from blue chip customers”.

Brusa HyPower was established only recently in 2021 as a spin-off from Brusa Elektronik AG and focuses on highly efficient power converters for electromobility. The company is located at the new Brusa headquarters in Buchs, which has had 20 million Swiss francs invested in it. The company now plans to use the strengthened collaboration with Bosch Rexroth and the new addition of investment firms M&G and Temasek to take the next step within its growth plans. Holger Fink, CEO of Brusa HyPower, stated that the company’s technology “shows a clear performance advantage over that of its competitors”, adding: “We expect this competitive advantage to be sustainable over the coming years.”
