Tourismus Forum Luzern has presented its tourism awards for the 19th time. This year, the awards went to Grand Casino Luzern and Obrasso Classic Events. The formal ceremony took place at the Lucerne Culture and Congress Center (KKL Luzern) as part of the Festival of Hospitality.
According to a press release, the award has been presented for “excellent solutions that benefit the tourism of Central Switzerland” since 2012. It is a “sign of thanks and recognition” for organizations and people that stand out as a result of excellent leadership, exceptional partnerships, or future-oriented ideas.
As Daniel Salzmann, head of the selection committee and Luzerner Kantonalbank, states in a video, the offering under the roof of the 125-year-old Grand Casino Luzern is “unparalleled”. It shapes the attractiveness of Lucerne as a tourism destination.
Obrasso Classic Events received the second tourism award at this event. The concert agency is the largest concert organizer at KKL beside Lucerne Festival. Obrasso’s Director Werner Obrecht commented in an article by the Luzerner Zeitung: “We bring people to KKL who would otherwise never have gone there”.
