Sustainability checkup for SMEs

New partnership between Switzerland Global Enterprise and kmu-nachhaltigkeit.ch

Discounts on status assessments in the field of sustainability for exporting SMEs.

sustainability

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important everywhere, including in international trade. According to a recent survey by S-GE, three out of four exporting companies expect sustainability to become significantly more important for their export business in the coming years. It is not only regulatory requirements that make compliance with certain sustainability standards increasingly important. Customers’ expectations regarding the sustainability of their products are also gaining in significance.

This development can be an opportunity for Swiss companies. SMEs that invest in ESG topics and communicate this transparently via the necessary standards will have a significant competitive advantage.

Switzerland Global Enterprise has entered into a partnership with tfy-consult to enable exporting Swiss SMEs to follow this path. Those who book a status assessment with a sustainability checkup and/or a strategy sprint on the platform kmu-nachhaltigkeit.ch will receive a discount.

The partnership between S-GE and kmu-nachhaltigkeit.ch aims to promote sustainability in Swiss SMEs and help them improve in this respect. Sustainability is becoming a key factor in international trade and particularly in connection with supply chains. S-GE already supports exporting Swiss SMEs in evaluating or searching for business partners abroad in terms of sustainability. SMEs that want to know exactly where they stand in terms of sustainability, where they have gaps and how they can close them will benefit from this new cooperation between S-GE and the platform kmu-nachhaltigkeit.ch. Participating companies have the opportunity to conduct a sustainability checkup. The individual checkup evaluation is used to derive effective measures for responsible corporate development. In addition, the lean but effective strategy sessions help to define sustainable priorities and transfer them into implementable processes and structures.
