BSI Life Sciences and Ledger Run enter into partnership

The software manufacturer BSI is entering into a partnership with Ledger Run, a Californian company specializing in payment transaction and budgeting solutions.

BSI Life Sciences with headquarters in Baden in the Swiss canton of Aargau and subsidiaries in Munich and New Jersey is working with Ledger Run, a Californian specialist in location budgeting and payments. According to a press release, the partnership will see the fusion of BSI Life Sciences’ clinical trial management software BSI CTMS and Ledger Run’s innovative ClinRun platform for improving budgeting and payment processes.

Together, the two companies hope to offer a more comprehensive platform based on market-leading systems. The press release adds that this should contribute to improving patients’ lives through better services for clinical trials.

Jan Nielsen, Community Manager Life Sciences at BSI, commented: “BSI Software has 25 years of success developing software solutions that deliver functional and leading edge eClinical software.” He went on to say that the company helps its customers to continuously optimize clinical development processes by providing user-friendly and easily integrated systems, adding: “Partnering with Ledger Run will further enhance our ability to tailor our digital solutions to enable our customers to optimize their clinical operations including payments.”

Ledger Run’s CEO Gary Lubin stated: “The industry is facing increasingly complex study designs, new challenges as clinical trials become more complicated.” The partnership will create an integrated solution. Lubin added: “Our site activation and payment capabilities, along with BSI’s eClinical platform, will make it easier for our customers to manage their clinical trial business operations and assist in the continuous improvement of these critical processes.”
