Bexio has implemented various program innovations across the first half of 2023. According to a press release, the company based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea, which specializes in the field of cloud-based business software, has primarily included and optimized invoicing applications in its eponymous software solution.
Before now, it had already been possible to use software to automatically read purchase invoices that came with a QR code. In the new software version, invoices without this special code can also be read and saved using a scanner. A smart document scanner named Scan2Go recognizes information such as date, amount and tax rate, before transmitting this data to the user’s accounting platform. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) upon which the bexio system is based is able to learn from data from previous inputs and supplier invoices. Therefore, users no longer have to manually input the data.
“We are delighted to be able to offer an even better user experience right away”, comments Claudio Beltrametti, Chief Product Officer, in the press release, before adding: “Moreover, these new functionalities ensure that we continue to ease the paperwork burden for our customers and optimally digitize their business”.
Bexio was founded in 2013 and has been a subsidiary of Mobiliar since July 2018. The company is experiencing strong growth, serves more than 60,000 paying customers and employs more than 150 staff. In 2016 and 2017, bexio was named as the best software start-in Switzerland.
