DIGGI24 has chosen to work with the automated retail devices from Invenda, the manufacturer and software company from the canton of Obwalden. According to a statement from the company, which is based in Alpnach, the smart vending machines have now been placed in strategic locations throughout Germany, including hotels, universities and shopping centers. DIGGI24 provides a “remarkable example of how to enhance consumer experiences and capitalize on innovative retail solutions”.

Invenda's machines are fully digitized. They have interactive touchscreens for product selection and are equipped with Internet of Things (IoT) technology. In addition, they are all connected and managed via a single platform. This IoT technology automatically identifies any maintenance needs, says Invenda, which generates efficient maintenance intervals.

Advertising content on the vending machines’ large digital screens is controlled remotely, as are planograms and prices. Invenda and its 100 employees aim to make automated retail an “indispensable sales channel for the world of today and tomorrow”.
