Hot off the press and just in time for the start of Hannover Messe 2024 on April 22, Maxon has presented its updated product catalog. At the trade fair, which runs until April 26, the global specialist for electric drive systems based in Sachseln in the canton of Obwalden will be showcasing its innovations and ceramic applications, in addition to its IDX and drive and control solutions for self-driving vehicles and autonomous robots known as “wheel drive”.
In terms of new product highlights, maxon mentions the integration of Parvalux, according to a press release. The drives developed by the British manufacturer of small geared motors add larger diameters to the maxon portfolio and can be combined with maxon products. According to maxon, this stands to benefit not only aspects such as door automation, but also robotics and autonomous car applications.
In addition, maxon is proud to announce its ECX PRIME 16L “power pack”. With this, a second size in the PRIME motor series will be launched on the market in spring 2024. In this way, stable control is facilitated in high-dynamic applications, as maxon writes in the press release.
The ED frameless DT 38 S and EC frameless DT 38 M have also now been added to maxon’s most versatile product range for flat motors. The EC frameless DT motors are BLDC motor kits with inner rotor technology. Last but not least, maxon presents the first variant of the brand-new maxon ESCON2 family of servo controllers: the ESCON2 module 60/30. Among other applications, maxon motors are used in the fields of medical technology, industrial automation and aerospace, as well as in mobility solutions.
