Those who travel long and hard by plane for their export business will be familiar with this situation: As soon as the plane lands and you again have an internet connection, you get inundated by a torrent of e-mail. Which would have been great to spend the travel time addressing. SWISS has a solution to this problem on its flights.

Buy data packages before departure

Data packages can be purchased before starting the business trip that allow you to access the internet with your own device during the flight. You can then read your business e-mail at leisure and manage the incoming message flow.

Currently, internet access is only available on Boeing 777 flights. SWISS is working to be able to offer these services on Airbus A330 flights starting in the spring of 2017. SWISS Connect data packages are available in sizes ranging from 20 to 120 MB, and are bookable via swiss.com. First class travelers receive a 50MB voucher free of charge.
