Switzerland Global Enterprise organizes together with Team Switzerland Infrastructure, the participation of Swiss companies in the water sector (water supply and sanitation) to this mission to establish contacts with the International Finance Institutions (IFIs), water sector specialists, position Swiss solutions, and identify relevant waqter-sector projects in developing countries.
The World Bank’s Private Sector Liaison Officers from Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK and Switzerland organize this mission to Washington, D.C. to increase access for European companies in the water sector to infrastructure projects in developing countries financed by the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the Inter-American Development Bank, and other U.S. development actors with headquarters in Washington D.C.
