Webinar: FTA between the EFTA states and India

Join the webinar to discover the impact of the new EFTA - India Free Trade Agreement!

The EFTA-India Free Trade Agreement is signed on 10 March 2024.

India’s economy is rapidly growing at an impressive rate of 7%, buoyed by government initiatives in the infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. This ensures that India remains a must market for Swiss and Liechtenstein companies. Factors such as demographic advantage, innovation mindset, robust domestic market and a high level of digital adoption add to the attractiveness of the Indian ecosystem. The FTA, therefore, creates an enabling framework for strengthening our bilateral economic partnerships in the new era.

To mark the significance of this occasion, Switzerland Global Enterprise, together with the Embassy of Switzerland in India, Swiss Business Hub India, and the Swiss Indian Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with economiesuisse, Swissmem and Swissrail Industry Association is organizing a webinar to provide an update on the newly signed Free Trade Agreement.

Experts will share their views and highlight the FTA’s impact on various industries of interest to Swiss and Liechtenstein companies as well first analysis of tariff lines.
