In April 2021, the General Administration of Customs of P.R. China (GACC) published two key regulations applicable to overseas food products exported to China. The product scope includes all food products except food additives and “food-related products”, such as food packaging materials, detergents, disinfectants, as well as tools and equipment used in food manufacturing.
