South Korea’s per capita chocolate consumption was moderately low at 700g, while that of Switzerland stood at 9kg as of 2022. However, recent consumer trends are shifting to small luxuries and high-quality products, a boom for premium chocolate brands, as consumers are willing to pay more for value-added brands in their choice of snacks and desserts.
