The first section is an economic overview on Argentina, highlighting the local opportunities in mining, energy and agribusiness. Apart from the current difficulties, Argentina remains the third largest country in South America with a population of around 47 million people and is the leading exporter of human capital in the knowledge-based industry in the region.
The second section outlines how local Swiss firms deal with the current situation with exchange controls and high inflation, while the last part is a technical note on imports and remittances and some indications on how to export to Argentina.
