Pirmin Jung Schweiz AG wins Prix SVC Central Switzerland

Pirmin Jung Schweiz AG from Sursee in the canton of Lucerne has won the Prix SVC Central Switzerland 2023. Third-placed Stöckli Swiss Sports AG is also based in the canton of Lucerne. InfoGuard AG, from Baar in the canton of Zug, was awarded second place.

The wood construction company Pirmin Jung Schweiz AG has won first prize in the final of the Prix SVC Central Switzerland 2023. According to a press release released by the Swiss Venture Club (SVC), Urban Camenzind, jury president and Minister of Economic Affairs for the canton of Uri, said: “Pirmin Jung Schweiz AG impressed us with their inspiration, quality and environmental awareness, backed up by teamwork, passion and knowledge sharing.” This is the ninth time that the company network from Gümligen in the canton of Bern has organized the competition for SMEs in Central Switzerland. 

InfoGuard AG, which is based in Baar in the canton of Zug and specializes in cybersecurity, was placed second. Third place went to ski manufacturer Stöckli Swiss Sports AG from Malters – another company based in the canton of Lucerne. The other three finalists were Bachmann Forming from Hochdorf in the canton of Lucerne, EVZ Holding from Zug and Trihow from Rotkreuz in the canton of Zug. The six finalists were selected from approximately 100 entrants in the region. 

The Prix SVC Central Switzerland recognizes SMEs in the region that stand out for their innovative products and services, their corporate culture, the quality of their staff and management, and their track record of sustainability. “It was wonderful to be back this year and present the coveted trophy in front of these six impressive finalists and a packed audience,” said Christoph Baggenstos, SVC Regional Head for Central Switzerland. “It was a great atmosphere and I particularly enjoyed chatting to lots of people during the networking event afterwards.”
